The GRI designation has long been a benchmark of excellence in the world of real estate. But, for years the Kansas Association of REALTORS® has not offered a GRI program. In 2018 that finally changed, and as of January 2020, Ryan Desch is one of the first new GRI designees in Kansas!
According to KAR the GRI Designation "is a way to stand out to prospective homebuyers and sellers as a REALTOR® who has gained in-depth knowledge on technical subjects as well as the fundamentals of real estate. It is recognized and respected nationally both as a significant accomplishment and as a clear indication of one’s dedication to excellence."
In order to obtain a GRI Designation, a REALTOR® in good standing has to complete over 80 hours of coursework designed to further knowledge in areas such as contract negotiations, technology, effective buyer and seller systems, legal issues, tax issues, and many other professional and ethical considerations in the field of real estate today.
The GRI is one of the highest designations available to real estate agents working in residential real estate and there are few who have obtained it. And it's now just one more reason to work with R+K Real Estate when buying or selling a home!
