October 2019 Home Sales in Lawrence.
It continues to be an interesting year in the world of real estate in Lawrence, KS! Average prices continue to rise, up 3.4% for the year. Simultaneously, days on market continue to stay very low, so homes are selling about as quick as they have for over a year now. Chalk it up to a continuation of low inventory, as we have seen 7% less homes sold in 2019 vs. 2018. But, if we take a peak at the final square on the figure above, we can see some easing. There are more homes for sale today than a year ago. That's good news for buyers to go along with the continued low rates!
Overall, it's still a great time to sell, even in October! There are plenty of buyers out in the marketplace, including some who maybe missed an opportunity or two in the Spring. Here at R+K Real Estate Solutions, we're prepared to handle any market! And beyond that, we offer things to both buyers and sellers that they won't find from other brokerages in town. We offer flat-fee listing commission structures designed to save sellers money, and for buyers we rebate a portion of the commission back to them after closing.
