Ryan Desch, REALTOR® ABR®

Citing calls to duty and service, Ryan is active with the Lawrence Board of REALTORS as well as the Kansas Association of REALTORS. Serving as a director of the board and numerous committees at the local and state level, Ryan exhibits a wealth of experience and knowledge about the world of real estate. Currently, Ryan is the 2019 LBOR President-elect and is looking forward to representing local REALTORS at the state and national levels.

Locally, stewardship of the Lawrence community is a top priority for Ryan. As the 2018-19 inaugural Chairperson of the Lawrence Board of REALTORS Community Foundation, Ryan has helped to organize fundraising and volunteer opportunities for local housing-related needs. Ryan has been instrumental in developing an ongoing relationship with Lawrence REALTORS and Family Promise of Lawrence through programs like Project 913 and Keys to Good Tenancy. In 2018 Ryan was recognized with the Lawrence Board of REALTORS Mary Jones Good Neighbor Award for these and other efforts.

Ryan resides in Lawrence with his wife Katie and insists upon the importance of running a family-focused business. Having taken a cue from his time as a manager at Nordstrom, Ryan maintains a high level of customer service with his clients. Ryan is a family man, a sharp dresser, and a whiskey enthusiast.
